The 24VAC thermostat add-on
This add-on turns your CTRL ONE into a fully-featured smart thermostat, capable of controlling simple 3-wire heating systems such as furnaces and in-floor heating systems. The isolated power supply runs the CTRL ONE safely from your heating system's 24V AC power, allowing it to be wall-mounted to standard 60mm wall receptacles.
Full Home Assistant control from ESPHome
With the add-on installed, the CTRL ONE exposes a thermostat controller that can be managed from the touchscreen, or directly from Home Assistant. Finally, a thermostat that integrates natively, with no cloud or separate app required to reach all functionality.
Use the full power of Home Assistant to create automations, relying on other sensors around the home. Want the heating to turn down when nobody is at home? Use HA's home/away capability to change the thermostat automatically.
Keeps working even when the connection is lost
No need to worry about pipes freezing if the WiFi cuts out, or Home Assistant is on the fritz. The CTRL ONE is a fully standalone thermostat, and with the onboard, accurate SCD40 temperature sensor, you can change the temperature directly from the device.
A fully standalone isolated power supply
Does your heating system work differently, or are you not looking for thermostat functionality at all? The 24VAC module accepts up to 28V AC and 40V DC power, so it can just be used as a standard power supply for the CTRL ONE.
Specifications
The CTRL ONE must be reconfigured to add the thermostat functionality in ESPHome before use. Follow the documentation here to set it up.

Do not use the USB port while the CTRL is powered via this add-on. While we have made every effort to ensure safety, we are not responsible for damage caused to the CTRL ONE or connected devices if the USB port is used while powered via the 24VAC add-on.
This add-on protrudes out of the rear of the CTRL ONE, and is intended for applications where the device is mounted to a 60mm recessed wall mount. It will not work with the stand included with the CTRL ONE.
