The buzzer add-on
This little passive buzzer allows you to use the ESPHome RTTTL Buzzer component to play simple tunes, sounding like it came straight out of an old Nokia. Use it to play notification sounds, alert you when something needs your attention, or even make a home-wide doorbell system with a CTRL ONE in each room.
Choose your tune
The RTTTL component takes simple text files that define a series of notes to play. Find thousands of recognisable tunes online, and use Home Assistant automations to play them on-demand.
It's loud.
The vented sides of the CTRL ONE allow the sound to come out cleanly and clearly. This buzzer is designed to get your attention, with its retro sound.
